1. Introduction
Welcome to Hiretree. These Terms of Use govern access and use of our recruitment platform by candidates. By registering or applying for jobs through Hiretree, you agree to these terms. Hiretree is a platform that connects candidates with job opportunities at companies and organizations of all sizes — from a single location to networks with multiple units.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- "Platform" refers to the Hiretree website, application, and services.
- "Candidate" or "You" refers to the individual who registers or applies for jobs.
- "Company" (or "Employer") refers to the company or organization that uses Hiretree to post jobs and run selection processes.
- "Organization" refers to a company together with its units — such as branches, stores, or departments — under the same brand or management.
- "Application" refers to the act of applying for a job position.
3. Registration and Account
When applying for a job, you provide personal information that will be used to create your candidate profile. You are responsible for:
- Providing true, accurate, and up-to-date information.
- Keeping your contact information current.
- Protecting access to your email, which is used for authentication.
- Ensuring your resume contains only truthful information.
4. Platform Use
Hiretree allows you to:
- Apply for available job positions.
- Manage your profile and resume.
- Track the status of your applications.
- Receive communications about jobs and selection processes.
It is prohibited to:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Use another person's identity.
- Apply to jobs in an automated or mass manner.
- Use the platform for illegal or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to access data from other candidates or companies.
5. Personal Data and Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Brazil's LGPD (Law 13.709/2018). We collect and process:
- Identification data: name, email, phone number.
- Professional data: resume, experience, education.
- Application data: jobs applied to, interaction history.
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data at any time.
- Request correction of incomplete or incorrect data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Request data portability to another service.
- Revoke previously given consents.
To exercise your rights, access the "My Applications" section in our portal.
6. Data Sharing
When you apply for a job, your data will be shared with:
- The specific unit responsible for the position.
- The organization the unit belongs to, when applicable, for managing the selection process.
- Recruiters and managers responsible for hiring.
Your data will NOT be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
7. Intellectual Property
All platform content (design, code, text, logos) is the property of Hiretree or its licensors. The content of your resume and personal information remains your property.
8. Limitation of Liability
Hiretree acts as an intermediary between candidates and companies. We do not guarantee:
- That you will be hired for any position.
- The accuracy of information provided by companies.
- Uninterrupted platform availability.
The hiring decision is exclusively made by the advertising companies.
9. Termination
You may request the deletion of your account and data at any time. Hiretree may suspend or terminate your access in case of violation of these terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of São Paulo/SP are elected to resolve any disputes.
